Nick and Deanna welcome you to Minnesota's legendary Lake of the Woods, on the Canadian border where world-class fishing & wildlife complement each other in the secluded setting of the only resort on Zippel Bay.

Lake of the Woods is a large, pristine body of water with many bays, 65,000 miles of shoreline, 14,000 islands. Rated "world-class" walleye and sauger fishing, trophy northern pike in Zippel Bay, excellent smallmouth bass and perch abound. Fish spring or fall in shallow water, July and August on rock reefs or winter angling in Zippel Bay area. We have it all!

OUR LODGE

The lodge offers a rustic cocktail lounge, satellite TV, dining room and a store. It has complete American Plan meals and off-menu dining. Our fully modern and equipped housekeeping cabins come with satellite TV, some with fireplaces and are available year around. Camping spaces are available with and without hookups. There is a central shower facility for your convenience.

Groups are welcome...allow us to plan your next family reunion, business seminar or large group vacation. Zippel Bay Resort is a great place to get away and recharge your batteries. ICE FISHING

Lake of the Woods has some of the hottest winter walleye and sauger action anywhere in the country. Fish in complete comfort from one of our many spacious, large picture window, gas-heater angling or sleeper fish houses. In addition, we have northern pike tip-up and spearing houses. We maintain wide, plowed, flagged ice roads so you can drive to and from the lake at your convenience.
